Other Talented Storytellers

It takes a lot to be a Storyteller nowadays. Gone are the times when a traveling bard only needed her harp, some good shoes, and a repertoire of stories. Karen Chace

Karen Chace is a storyteller, workshop leader and author. She writes for Storytelling Magazine, and her blog offers resources for storytellers and educators. She founded her student storytelling troupe, The Story Explorers, in 2002, producing their festival each year, and her book Story by Story: Building a School Storytelling Troupe, will be available in October 2014. Karen is the 2011 recipient of the National Storytelling Network’s Oracle Award for Leadership and Service in the Northeast, and the 2009 recipient of the LANES Brother Blue – Ruth Hill Award.
